  • 🤲 Gifting For Lily

Lily, a local Tohickon Middle School Student, was recently diagnosed with diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG), a rare and aggressive tumor on her brainstem. This devastating and terminal condition has profoundly impacted the lives of the entire Tomlinson family (parents: Seth and Kelsey) and the Finnigan family (grandparents: Andrew and Kathy). As the disease progresses, Lily now requires around-the-clock care. She has begun radiation treatment at CHOP to manage her symptoms and slow the cancer’s progression, which involves a demanding daily drive of over an hour each way. To provide Lily with the care she needs, her parents have taken leaves from their jobs at a local mental health nonprofit. The combination of medical expenses and lost income has placed the family under significant financial strain during an already unimaginably difficult time. Their priority is caring for Lily, but they urgently need support to relieve the financial burden and focus on what matters most: their daughter. • 🥾 Help Keep Our Courts Clean and Safe

With the messy weather this time of year , we want to remind everyone to take a small step that makes a big difference in maintaining safe and clean courts for all. Please consider wearing different 👟shoes, 🥾 boots, or ☔️ clogs on your way to play pickleball. This helps keep the court surface clean and dry, reducing the risk of slips and falls. While we’ve placed rugs at the entrances to absorb dirt and moisture, heavy foot traffic can overwhelm them, especially during this wet and muddy season. Additionally, if you notice any issues with the court surface, please notify us immediately. Your feedback allows us to address concerns promptly and ensure the best playing conditions for everyone. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our courts safe and enjoyable! See you on the courts, Doylestown Pickleball
